Here are a few rules to help you with this job:
1.) It is one important rule to follow: measure the length of the old heater coil accurately, write it down! The reason is simple; the new replacement coil needs to be stretched out to the correct length. If the heater coil is too long, what will you do with the leftover part? No - you can't make it shorter anymore.
2.) There is a neat little trick: start in the middle of the coil and work both sides towards the end.
3.) 3/8" coils need to feed through the ceramic insulators; 3/4" heating coils will hook onto the ceramic insulator.
Be careful where the coil bends around, don't get too close to the frame and the limit switches.
4.) You should replace the limit switches as well; they are often the reason for unexpected shut-downs; we call them the little "troublemakers".

Please make sure that you order the correct size (3/8” or 3/4” outer diameter) and the connector type at the end of the coil, bolt or spade.
